Julie Fakkema
Julie Fakkema was raised in Oak Harbor and had the privilege of attending Oak Harbor Christian School starting in first grade in 1968. She is pleased to be a descendant of one of the founders of OHCS, Mr. Chris Fakkema.
Miss Fakkema is immensely grateful for the grounding she received in scripture at OHCS, and for the lifelong friendships she still enjoys. She was also a beloved teacher at OHCS from 2003 to 2010. During that time she instilled in all her students a strong understanding of the Bible and the ability to think critically. She feels honored to have been serving in the OHCS Board since 2017, and inspired by the growth she has witnessed. Ms. Fakkema is looking forward to seeing all of the great things God has planned for our great school!
