Dear Parents:
I’m not sending home a Spelling Take Home Task. Time for a little break. There is a list of spelling words coming home. The test will be Friday.
I’m also sending home information on the “Spotlight on Speech” coming up this month. The kids will need to be working on memorizing both a Bible passage and a poem. They will need to know both cold by May 4. Thanks for your help on this!
The practice for the 50’s performance honoring grandparents is going very well. I hope you’ve got April 13th on your calendars! And I hope that we can get a lot of grandparents there too. They will absolutely love it!
I told the kids I need lots of pictures of their grandparents, especially class pictures from the 50’s. Please look through your photographs and send one along with your child before the program so we can put display it!
And I hope you’re finding some GREAT 50’s duds. I’ve found quite a few through the Playhouse, but the Thrift Store is also a good source.
